Hi, I'm Oliver! My brother and I were discovered in the woods after a snow storm that had schools closed for a week! We were found by a really nice family that weaned us back to health and offered us a warm place to stay. My mom was also going through a sad, scary time after a really terrible car accident. She'd been wanting a puppy for forever and dad started encouraging her to look on Petfinder. She's says when she saw me she just knew! I believe her because when I saw them I knew, too. We rescued each other. My mom is a therapist and works with kids. A lot of the kids are just like me: sweet spirited, but fearful because of bad past experiences. She thought I might be able to help some of her clients learn how to socialize and interact with people so she brought me along to a couple sessions. I loved it and they loved me, too! I want kids to know that they can overcome anything. I want them to know that they can use their story to go from rescued to rescuer, just like me!
