My husband and I were moving to New Jersey and I asked him for a puppy. He said no and then took me to a shelter to "just look". That's when we came across Biscuit, formerly known as Dorito. She was a little golden pit bull mix who looked terrified. When we asked about her, the gentleman showing us around said they found her tied up in a park for who knows how long. That's when I decided I wasn't leaving without her. We filled out the paperwork and we brought our girl home. She was a lot of work at first, we think she came from an abusive home, but with patience and training she became calm, loving, and our protector. She has brought us so much joy, laughter, and love. She talks to us, cuddles with us constantly, and thinks she's human. She also has no idea she weighs 65lbs and wants to sit on laps and be carried around. She's our baby girl and we are so lucky we found her.
