We wanted to rescue you a dog to join our family. We did a lot of research and found out ARF had just rescued 5 puppies from a high kill shelter in South Carolina. ARF had an adoption event at the Petco store in Middletown, NY. Ginger(formally known as Rosalita)traveled 4 1/2 hours from the Hamptons  Middletown where we were waiting patiently to meet her for 2 1/2 hours. Once the truck arrived we were 1st on line to enter and Ginger came right to us letting us know she chose us to be her forever family. Ginger has since become a wonderful part of our family. She has become 1st in her puppy class. Anyone that meets her falls instantly in love with her. She is sweet, loving and extremely smart. Instead of us rescuing her she has rescued us.
