We adopted both of our puppies from FHS. Lucy and her 5 litter mates were abandoned at the age of 8 weeks old. FHS took in all of them and placed them in foster homes. Lucy was the runt and the last of her siblings to find a home! Dallas was also an FHS puppy. However, she only arrived there after a near miss with her euthanasia date at a kill shelter. Luckily for her (and US!), FHS pulled Dallas and her sister from the kill shelter and gave them a second chance. Lucy and Dallas are best friends and do everything together - from wrestling to playing, running and snuggling, they are always together. We are forever thankful to FHS for giving our dogs a second chance at life and for bringing us together! They are the best friends you could ask for!
