Francis York Morgan (orig William) was rescued w/ his mother & sister from a hoarding situation when he was 2 months. I don't have the details but do know the original owner had them tied up w/o food & water. 2 months later my sister, mother & I made an impromptu visit to Petsmart where an adoption event by Stonecliff was winding down. Even though most of the dogs were packed up for the drive back to Lemoore they allowed us to look through the adoption binders. York was brought out & I melted on the spot. I loved him & began in earnest to convince my sis to consider taking him home. To my surprise she said that he would be mine for Xmas! I wanted a dog for so long & overcome w/ joy I clutched York tighter & sobbed. I was a bit embarrassed my tearful reaction in turn made volunteers cry too! Our meeting last Sept was fate. York helped me get through a hardtime & filled a hole in my heart I didn’t even realize I had. He's a sweetheart & I'm so glad he found his forever home with me!
