It all began when I decided I really wanted a puppy, so I decided to look for creditable breeders. I found one and I was looking at a pretty hefty $2000 for my prize labrador retriever. After talking with a friend she sent me an email with pictures of adorable lab puppies that the animal shelter in my town would be getting. These puppies were coming from a kill shelter in Louisiana and would be up for adoption that weekend. I contacted everyone I could to help me in my pursuit of adoption. That weekend when the puppies arrived I got first choice of which puppy I wanted to adopt. I chose Toby and couldn't be happier. The timing couldn't be more perfect, giving him a loving home was meant to be. I have an amazing 3 month old puppy whom I don't know how I could ever live without!!
