We went on a search through out the city looking at all the shelters for that one pet we knew we would have a connection with. As, we searched we were having no luck so we sort of stopped. Than we visited the last shelter on our list, Animal Care Services. It was there we found Daisy a spunky 5 month old Basset Hound Mix. As, we got closer to this pup it so happens she was looking for us too because she stuck her paw through the little gate and placed it right on my shoe. We fell in love with her and didn't want to let her go. According to them Daisy was found wandering the streets very lost a couple days prior to our visit. Three years later Daisy is still with us and we truly love her beyond words could describe. Daisy enjoys eating, running around with her turkey plush toy and cuddling up at night.
