Our house was completely divided as to whether or not we should get a dog. Our son, who was in the second grade at the time, was very afraid of dogs. The turning point was when he almost got hit by a car trying to avoid contact with a dog who was leashed in our neighborhood. We rescued Spumoni through Wheatens in Need in 2008. It was love at first sight for my husband, daughter, and myself. It took our son one day to not be afraid. They've been inseparable ever since. Rescuing Spumoni was one of the best decisions our family has ever made! Everyone should experience the wheaten greetin'!!!
