When we met Bronwen, then named Dori, she was five weeks old, and had been thrown in the trash by her previous owner only two weeks earlier. Thanks to rescue workers, we had her and her littermates to choose a family member from. While looking at all those fuzzy faces in their crate, my husband put a finger up to Bronwen. She immediately began to suck on his finger. We were hers from then on. We wanted a dog as an Emotional Support Animal for my mental illness, and she has given me a much greater quality of life. She has saved me just as much as we and her rescue workers saved her. Whoever threw her away like she belonged in the trash has no idea how wrong they were.
