Kialoa, Southbury

Vote For Kialoa
We heard about CPR and just knew we had to adopt one of the pups they rescue and transport from rural Tennessee. Since CPR's beginning, they have rehomed over 10,000 dogs and puppies. This has been accomplished thru a vast network of affiliated shelters and rescues but primarily through private adoptions. We went to their location in Southbury, CT right after a large group of pups had arrived after a 2-day truck ride and vet check. Kialoa was in a horse stall with 10 other puppies and she was one of the smallest, but jumped the highest - almost into our arms. Her adoption papers estimated that she was an Australian Shepard Tri-mix and would be about 40 lbs. - she’s now 9 months and only 15 lbs. but just the cutest thing in the world. Her favorite thing to do is go out on the boat and explore the islands of the CT River. Her toy could include a life jacket to promote dog safety on the water.
