Mia came into my life in November 2013. I remember the day that I pulled up the the shelter and saw her outside in a pin with her momma. I knew I had found the little girl I wanted! When I asked about her background, I was told that Mia was abandoned with her brother and mom outside a park in NWA with no food, water, or shelter. She had been abused terribly and would not even let me near her. I was determined to show her the love she had never seen before. Mia brought home many infections and a life-threatening disease and I almost lost her twice, but she is strong and her will for life is amazing! Now, Mia loves to run, go to the lake, play with her cousin-dogs, and drive her momma crazy! We sure love our little Mia Pia, lopsided ear, ballet feet, and all!
