A Newfoundland breeder had a female dog they thought was too old to get pregnant. Until one day they found her with a litter of 9 puppies and she had died giving birth. They owners were going on vacation and decide to dump the litter of puppies off at a shelter when they were only a day old. A foster mom took all the puppies in and bottle fed them every two hours for the first 4 weeks of their little lives. We adopted Oliver when he was hardly 8 weeks old. He is the most amazing dog with the sweetest nature. He is 13 months old (and 135lbs!) and is already a certified AKC CGC and Community Canine. In our free time we love to volunteer at nursing homes, rehab facilities and libraries doing therapy work.
