Wookiee, was brought into the local shelter in Baton Rouge and FOTA pulled him to avoid euthanasia. My previous dog was run over September 25, 2013, by a school bus. Wookiee was picked up by animal control in a school zone the same morning we lost our beloved Tucker. Wookiee won my heart and soon my son, Rheid who is 2 now. He has given me an inspiration to volunteer at our local Humane Society. We now foster, participate in pet touch therapy, and we attend all kinds of adoption events. He has given us such a wonderful reminder of unconditional love. All children should have a shelter pup. They are the true definition of grateful. Wookiee is a full time babysitter, brother, baby, and inspiration! Thank you guys for raising awareness!
