My husband had just deployed the week before. I was going pretty insane, and a puppy was the last thing I needed. I met Sadie that next week and she had just gotten out of a bad situation where her then owners abused her. From the moment I met her she followed me around. We got her from 11lbs to 25lbs of a healthy strong puppy. She never met my husband until he got back from Afghanistan but she recognized him immediately from the times we were able to skype with him. Sadie then helped my husband with his journey with dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She is the best dog I've ever had and even though I have in the past I would never buy another dog again if I could rescue. She likes running in circles outside and walks through the forest and getting her belly rubbed!
